LU Innovation has two sections: one a part of the public authority and the other a holding company, which function as one unit. Through the public authority part, they offer researchers and students at Lund University business development, advice on patents or legal matters and funding to test, verify or accelerate an idea. In order to successfully commercialise academic research findings, LU Innovation collaborates with other partners, such as business incubators and various types of funding bodies, for grants and seed funding. We also keep close contact with different actors within business development and with industrial networks. At LU Innovation, we help students and researchers to convert ideas and research results into new successful products, services and methods for the market.
